The Evening and the Vase 1.

The sun has set. It’s twilight time,
I sit, aimlessly, staring at this vase.
I lean in closer, surveying the details.
My mind wanders.
I think about the little ones, how they lay in their beds and giggle. Their joke is a secret, but it brings me joy just the same.
The last rays of sunlight bounce off the crystal vase and into my eyes, just as the last, daily rays of laughter bounce into my heart.
There is joy and beauty in the simplicity of life.
Various sized digital prints available, as well as the original artwork.
